It’s been a while

Note: There’s a year between these blog posts – the ones below are from 2009 and may contain out of date info. Actually, they will.

For the past 18 months, I’ve been involved in Rhubarb Radio. It has been the catalyst for most of the other projects I’ve come to be involved in and the reason I’m now working alongside Kipp and Tommy as a Web Developer. Last night we got an email from the managing director of Rhubarb, essentially resigning their position and giving us until 31st December to decide what we want to do.?

Initially, of course, I was a little scared about the consequences of this news. With their resignation comes the realisation that Rhubarb Radio could cease to exist within a few weeks. On the other hand, it’s kind of spurred me on a bit to help make the station work. There will be a call to arms within the next few days, one that I hope the creative people of Birmingham, if not the country, will help with. Maybe call to arms is too strong a phrase, I’m not sure. I know what I mean though.

There’s a General Meeting on Wednesday, 8pm at The Moseley Exchange if any of you can make it, I’d love to see you there.
